Desde 1998, los premios BAFTA de Entretenimiento Interactivo despliegan su alfombra roja para ver desfilar lo mejor en videojuegos y redes sociales- aunque esto de premiar a las redes sociales no funcionó mucho, así que lo dividieron en un evento diferente, para luego desaparecer en su última edición del 2005.
Luego, en el 2006, la Academia decide darle a estos premios el mismo estatus que los de televisión y cine, por lo cual el evento comenzó a ser televisado, y diez años después, aquí estamos informando sobre los nominados del año a:
